WORD.

"The mother Art is architecture. Without an architecture of our own we have no souls of our own civilization." -Frank Lloyd Wright

Words.
I've been taught to it. Construct it. Build them right with windows of nice view. Speak when I say. Illiterately uttered for those who don't understand. I choose to be simple. Stay silent when I got nothing to say. Worth for the thinking though.

I am very aware of the 'spiral of silence' theory which defines a coward to stand a point and rather swallow their pride and follow others' than having own rights. State it.

Now, I'm erecting my point out of my illiterate states, I choose to Rap and never care who hates it. It is just another way of stretching my canvas in describing perspectives on a different medium. For me it's not about being an artist and selling records. It's not for the name or fame or not even a game. It's just a form of Art to be shared with. I don't care about no name, just call me O.D.D.

And yes i can't "freestylin" well like the rest which makes me just another recording entity. For me, 'spitting' rhymes over time is good for mind exercise to think fast in rhyming but how intelligent  the content can get when you rap on the same old kind of content over many beats?
I rather pen it down and take time to think before write, got to have the feels because i don't want my lyrics telling the same story in a different song. I don't have Ipod when I got smartphones that merely  got the same functions like internet access and media player only phone functions added. It may get redundant or might be wasted to have both, i feel.
I mean I don't battle in songs, I try to educate, we share life and loves, and hates. Correct me if i'm wrong, at least that's what most people are really good at doing -- looking for other's bad lines instead analyse the goods, because no one is better than yourself, right? Up to you as I don't strike any provocations.

I don't diss any of other rappers, I'm down with them. I just having my thought drew over the colour of well-painted, illustrative "get real" lyrics. I write most of mine in a bad side of self-reflected prescription, emotionally yet positively -- always looking on the sunniest side of the streets though it's gloomy. Lyrics are really much portray of who you are and what you have been through, so simply as write about my life.

I rather be writing about the nice whether to be lived in to the darkest day that ate up souls. I get deep. But i keep my writing simple. Say what you gotta say. I ain't no gangster. I love Rap. Be it in a Hip-Hop or Punk Rock, better lyrics is just better along with the positive message and the spirits of a go getter rather than bragging about one night stand, having STDs registered on the next forgotten morning, I thought Rap is supposed to educate. Like how the early days of a preacher freestyle in rhyme for the purposes of light penetrations -- easy listening yet compact messages.

"..Bein the race that we are, bein the strong race that we are We picked it up, we picked up those positive, those positive vibes and we started rappin and so I think it is, it's a very good medium too.." - Tupac Amaru Shakur

Don't get the good words wasted over bad moods, be it the good words, because, once it was said badly,  you never get the second chance for the first impressions. So, me, I always keep it fresh and clean cus I am not another party animal, I wrestle the world with the rest in the thought of making history for future references even if it's little to acknowledgement than just to be referred as a memory of an era, I don't want to go down by the lane, because it's a neck breaking to look forward again.

Now, most of them are ear bleeding and mind abusive verbal anecdotes. It ain't dope. Don't build a wall that kills new hope. I just don't want the new generation to look at Rap as what most of it is now. I want more of Black Thought, the Roots the rest of crew,The Fugees, more of Mos Deff's, Rizzle Kicks  and a lot more of Johnny Itch of The King Blues.

So, constructing lyrics is as much as building a house. You don't want only the exterior to look good, but also the inside. You gotta have souls in building it, small or spacious, so that the house is full of life despites being a dead and dull mansions#
